The Bar

The Commodore bar - Open Daily from 5pm and food served from 6pm to 9pm

The bar offers a warm and welcoming spot to enjoy one of Orkney’s local beers or a glass of fine wine. The décor is cosy and contemporary with views over Scapa Flow. Our wood-burning stove provides a cheery glow on winter’s evenings.

We have on tap a selection of cold lagers, beers and cider, along with a range of locally brewed bottled ales from Orkney’s two breweries. Our wine list is available in the bar with several wines sold by the glass. Look out also for our monthly specials

The bar supper menu, available all year, is especially popular during the winter months when diners enjoy warm and hearty home-cooked fare. Hot soup, meaty stews and fish suppers are always popular. Children and pets are welcome in the bar too.

A pool table and darts board offer entertainment in the bar with regular league games during the winter months. A juke box provides background music, or the opportunity to choose your own tracks, and a television allows you to catch up with the evening news or your favourite soaps or sports. A relaxed and cheerful place for an evening out.
